Brandon A. Nowalk Award for Creativity:

Adaptation gets this award because I had to move Y Tu Mama Tambien to 2001 since that's actually when it premiered (my mistake), and Adaptation had the next coolest innovation, it's script.  I didn't really love the movie though and you can be very sure I'm going to be looking for innovative movies from 2002 to take its place.

For a quick recap, for the Oscars, I pulled for Lord of the Rings for Best Picture, but I picked Chicago for two awards, Best Actress and Supporting Actress for Renee Zellweger and Catherine Zeta-Jones.  Following that, I rooted for Gangs of New York to win Best Actor for Daniel Day-Lewis and Road to Perdition to win Best Supporting Actor for Paul Newman.

As for the BMAs, Lord of the Rings won Best Picture and Best Supporting Actor for Andy Serkis.  Chicago tied it with two wins, Best Actress for Renee Zellweger and Best Supporting Actress for Catherine Zeta-Jones, while Gangs of New York scored only Best Actor for Daniel Day-Lewis.
