BTA Trivia:

34 series have been nominated for awards over 5 years.

The winningest comedy is Arrested Development with 7 BTAs, followed by 30 Rock and The Office with 6 each.

The winningest drama is Battlestar Galactica with 6 BTAs, followed by The Wire and Deadwood with 4, and The Sopranos with 3.

Arrested Development holds the record for the most nominations, at 23, especially awesome given its lifespan of only 3 years.  Scrubs meanwhile has 17 nominations, and The Office has 13.

The Wire leads the drama nominations with 21, followed by a three-way tie at 15 nominations each for Battlestar Galactica, Deadwood, and The Sopranos, with Six Feet Under just behind at 14 nominations.

Zach Braff, Steve Carell, Jenna Fischer, and Mary McDonnell tie for the most nominations, each with 4.  Except for Braff, they've all won a BTA as well, and Jenna Fischer has won twice.

Rainn Wilson has the distinction of being the only person nominated for both Comedy and Drama BTAs.

The Wire has the most acting nominees, with 12 performers singled out and 5 repeat nominations.

Arrested Development has the most acting nominees among the comedies, its entire main cast nominated for BTAs (9 actors) along with recurring stars Judy Greer and Charlize Theron, and 9 repeat nominations.

My favorite year for comedies is 2006, but for dramas I prefer 2007.
