Random Thoughts:
May 2, 2004:
Forgot to mention that I downloaded Return of the King over spring break! That's right, I have had the greatest movie ever made for over a month! I swear, it gets better every time. However, I can't wait for the EE in fall!!!!!
February 20, 2004:
So I haven't really posted
anything on here for a while...LotR cleaned up at the Golden Globes two weeks
ago! It won every award it was up for. Bring on the Oscars, baby!
Peter Jackson also won the Director's Guild award yesterday so he's pretty much
a clinch for Best Director.
Anyway, I haven't seen RotK in theatres in over a month...how crazy is that?
I must get in to see it once more before it stops. I guess there's not
really much to say for a while. I'll try to find some RotK: EE pictures
sometime and post them up here...so, Alex, since you're pretty much the only one
who reads this page, it looks like there will be few updates until the EE comes
out.

I saw RotK three times in four days...yes, I'm obsessed.
December 10, 2003:
I saw
this picture the other day, and read the caption
above it. Evidently it's right before/after the ring is destroyed...not
really sure. Anyway, I read it and thought, "wow, I'm going to be crying
like a baby at this point in the movie." I think about Sean Astin, and
know that his delivery of the line will be perfect...all early reviews expect
him to be nominated for Best Supporting Actor this year. 6 more
days...it's killing me!!!!
Who would win: Aragorn vs.
Legolas?? I say Aragorn...he was raised as an Elf, he is descended from
Elves, so they are basically even there. Then Aragorn is just so much more
beastly (don't get me wrong, I love Legolas. I would sacrifice myself
before letting them ever kill each other!).
Update: Hahaha...I win! Alex caved in, knowing that
Anduril was an unbeatable weapon.

My Elvish name is: Círdan Séregon
My hobbit name is: Hob Brockhouse of Loamsdown

Everyone should go
here and watch this trailer. I remember seeing it for the first time
over two and a half years ago. I can't believe it was that long
ago...these movies have had such a huge influence on me (insert joke making fun
of the obsessive loser).
NEW!
Are you ready
for Return of the King?
"You scored 9 out of a possible 10
The King. You not only know the story back to front and can tell Merry and
Pippin apart, you have all the miniatures and will be first in line to buy the
complete trilogy on DVD."
I missed number 8...damn.

For anyone with lots of time on their hands...this is the forum I read about
Lord of the Rings. The guys on here know everything and I get to read all
about making the movies. They also find all the new video footage and
pictures quicker than I ever could. I've been reading this since early
January...I've read all 83 pages (thus far!). Support the
Home Theater Forum.

Read a
preview of Return of the King
on MSN today, and it's gotten me really excited. They claim that the movie
starts with the origins of Smeagol scene. Sounds good to me. Also look at the
first picture of Aragorn...definitely airbrushed, but still cool.
November 21, 2003:
So the other day I let one of my friends at school, also a LotR fanatic borrow my ring that Sammie got me, and one of her friends broke it!
I was so pissed off! Anyway, I hope I can make it work again but I really
doubt it. Oh well, I still have the ring and the necklace, that's all that
matters. It would be nice if it glowed in the dark, but I'll live.

Saw TTT:EE today! Wow, that's
all I can say. Wow. Read my thought on it here.
